Nakayama Hakud%C5%8D

Nakayama Hakud , also known as Nakayama Hiromichi, was a Japanese martial artist and founder of the iaid style Mus Shindenry. He is the only person to have received both jdan and hanshi ranks in kend, iaid, and jd from the All Japan Kendo Federation. In addition, he held an instructors license in Shint Musry and a Menkyo kaiden in Shind Munenry making him the 7th ske of that system. Nakayama was also one of the masters of the Shimomuraha, which was called Mus Shinden Eishinry, iaijutsu.

Nakayama was born in 1872 in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. He moved to Tokyo when he wasyears old and entered the dj of Negishi Shingor of the Shind Munenry. In time, Nakayama became a master of Shind Munenry kenjutsu.
